Overview

A multi-day programme through Luxor’s temples, the Valley of the Kings and the charm of Aswan and Philae.

Our golden journey brings together Upper Egypt’s highlights in one flexible programme. In Luxor we visit Karnak and Luxor Temple, then the West Bank with the Valley of the Kings and Hatshepsut’s temple. In Aswan we visit Philae Temple and sail on a felucca.

The programme can run overland or as a Nile cruise, with optional balloon flight or Abu Simbel. We send you the detailed itinerary and price once we know your dates, group size and accommodation level.

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival in Luxor, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple
Day 2 West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut’s temple and the Colossi of Memnon, then on to Aswan
Day 3 Philae Temple and a felucca ride in Aswan, then departure

Good to know before you go

The best time for this trip is October to April
Wear comfortable clothes and a hat, and bring sunscreen
Photography inside some tombs may require a special ticket
